I was unaware that having a live tree in the home can increase the presence of mold spores in indoor air by more than six times in less than two weeks. A great option is to cut your own - this way you bypass the storage conditions that promote mold growth.

For those of us who avoid the holiday booze-fest, here are a few mocktail recipes I haven’t tried yet but sound delicious. They are all apple cider based and each recipe contains medicinal herbs that will give some health benefits as well. I think I will be trying the “apple cider sangria” with the cardamom and cinnamon (2 of my favorite warming herb flavors)
